The Warren County Public Library is one of the strongest public library systems in Kentucky. A card is free. Most of what they offer is free too, and a lot of it has nothing to do with books.

You can get a card that lets you check out physical books and equipment, or a digital-only card that never requires you to leave your house. Warren County residents qualify for a free card.

If you need help with documents

Free notary service. You do not need to pay to have a document notarized. The library does it at all eight branches. Bring valid photo ID, and the person signing must be present. Call your nearest branch to confirm when a notary is available. See notary hours and locations →

Passport services. The library can help you apply for a U.S. passport. Call ahead to check hours and required documents.

  • Computers and printers you can use for free.
  • Fax service, free, at the Lisa Rice Library, Bob Kirby Branch, Smiths Grove Branch, and the Hotel INC Satellite location.

Get the app

The library app lets you search the catalog, place holds, view your account, and check out ebooks and audiobooks. It also scans book barcodes so you can see if the library owns a book you find at a store.
