Legal
Knowing your rights is half the battle.
If you are facing eviction, dealing with a custody fight, trying to clear something off your record, or working through paperwork that should not require a lawyer, this page can help. Some of these places give you free legal advice. Some help you fill out paperwork. Some go to court with you. All of them are for working families who cannot pay $300 an hour for a lawyer. If you live in Warren County and you have a legal problem, that is a real reason to ask. Most people who need legal help never call a lawyer because they assume they cannot afford one. Many of the programs on this page are completely free if you qualify.
The legal system moves slowly, but deadlines are real. If you have been served with papers, do not wait. Call as soon as you can.
Hours, availability, and eligibility change. Always call before you go, and ask what you will need to bring.
This list is not every legal resource in Warren County. It is the places we know about. If you know a place we missed, tell us and we will add it.
